Property Details

The Boathouse is a glass-fronted lodge for two, sitting on the edge of a private lake in South Cerney. Architect-designed and built to face the water, it’s made for people who want to genuinely switch off. Mornings here begin with light across the lake, whether you’re out in a kayak at sunrise or still in bed, coffee in hand, watching from the mezzanine window.

Afternoons drift by on the sun deck or in the hot tub, where the only sound is birdsong and the quiet ripple of the water. When evening falls, the log burner glows, the stars come out and the world beyond these shores feels a long way off.

This is where you come to slow down. And if you’d rather stay wrapped in a blanket all weekend, that’s an excellent choice too.
