Our Origins: Corporate Ladders to Lakeside Living.
We’re Barry & Jo, and the Cotswold Lakes have been home since 2014. What started as a few weekends away quickly became something much bigger. By 2016 we’d taken the plunge and set up our first holiday home here, and honestly, it’s been the best decision we’ve ever made.
Since then, things have only grown. Bringing James into the core team has allowed us to expand our collection, refine the look and feel of every home, and raise the bar on how we share them with the world. Together, we’ve evolved Cotswold Water Park Retreats into the brand you see now, Be. Here., and we’ve got plans to take things even further.
Our collection keeps growing, but we still handpick each home with care, drawing on what we’ve learned from the people we’ve met along the way. We’ve built a team who share our values: thoughtful, friendly, and never afraid to roll up their sleeves. They’re exactly the kind of people you’d want looking after your guests, and your home.
