Property Details
If you want a break that feels effortless, this is your space. Cook together, challenge the family to a game of pool, or settle into the hot tub on the decking with something cold and excellent company. There’s room, and time, for all of it.
At Water’s Edge sleeps 8 across 4 bedrooms and sits directly on the water at the Cotswold Lakes, one of the largest freshwater lake destinations in the UK. It’s a home built for groups who want space without losing sight of each other. The kitchen handles big family meals easily, the living area has room for everyone to exhale, and the lake is right there, literally steps from the decking.
The house comes with its own row-boat. There’s something quietly special about rowing out onto the lake at sunset, when the water goes still and the light goes gold. That one’s hard to find anywhere else.

Exploring Nearby
At Water’s Edge sits within the Cotswold Water Park – a landscape of over 180 lakes, woodland trails and quiet village lanes in the southern Cotswolds. It’s genuinely one of the best spots in the region for outdoor life: cycling, paddleboarding, wild swimming, birdwatching, or simply walking somewhere beautiful.
South Cerney is a 5-minute drive and one of the most established villages in the area. Stone cottages, independent shops, good pubs and village greens that connect directly to lakeside walking routes.
Cirencester – the Cotswolds’ largest market town – is 10 to 15 minutes by car. Boutique shops, restaurants, a twice-weekly market and nearly 2,000 years of Roman history. Worth an afternoon at minimum.
Kemble Station is under 10 minutes from the property with direct trains to London Paddington in around 80 minutes – which makes this a practical choice for groups travelling from the city as well as those already in the region.
